What may sound like an unachievable dream is the daily routine for Shape Academy members: They are the first ones on the top of the mountain in the morning, enjoying nature and pursuing a varied job every day. They create Fun Mountains by building and maintaining QParks, Funslopes, Funcross and other facilities at the highest quality standards. If it´s a shaping-rookie or an experienced park builder, everyone who is willing to bring passion and muscle power, will find a fitting job here.
Newcomers take their first steps in the shaping business as a shaper or multimedia shaper. After that, the head shaper position is next up the career ladder, where first managing skills will be acquired. These competences are prerequisite in order to become a park designer or project manager, who is fully responsible for their crew and the project itself.
Shape Academy members who already gathered experience in a cockpit of a snowcat also get the chance to take their grooming skills to the next level by shaping snow facilities with the precision of heavy machinery. The technical director is responsible for several projects in one region; the main remits of this leading position are the safety issues and the constant development of every project on the mountain.
