As shaper or maintenance staff, you are responsible for the manual maintenance of all fun areas and you make sure the highest quality of all facilities is maintained during the entire season. Your daily efforts decide how much fun and safety the facilities offer to their guests.

Besides the shape tool, the multimedia shaper always has a smartphone with him. In addition to usual shaping-work, you have to make sure that the community won´t miss a thing. By uploading photos, videos and status updates you produce the backstage story out of the park!

The tasks of the head shaper are various. You lead the crew through the season, coordinate the daily work on the mountain and have a special focus on quality and safety of the facility. As the park designer´s right hand, you are advisor, implementer and personnel manager in one. Real team leader skills are required!

As a project manager your duty is to run a facility (Funslope, Funcross, Familypark) by yourself. The technical director checks the quality of the facility on a regular basis, gives you feedback and discusses what you can do better. You are the key point between the Shape Academy, the costumer and the visitors of the facility. By attending our training at the beginning of the season you will be well prepared for your tasks as a project manager.

Experienced snowcat operators surely are the main actors when it comes to building a park. For this job, dexterity and precision are required. Together with the park designer, you define the layout and are directely involved in all decisions since, after all, your skills determine success or failure of the park. Your shape tool is the snowcat.

As a park designer, you are officially responsible to make your snowpark deserve the label 'Quality Parks'. You are fully responsible for the snowpark you are in charge of, define its design and have a say on all decisions. Above all, a park designer must know how to design the best parks.

They are crucial to our construction work. Our Build-Up Managers have a lot of experience in the hottest phase of our projects: The build-up. They can introduce the new shapecrews to their tasks and solve problems on site. Whenever there is a need in a ski resort, they'll be there to help. Long story short: they can do everything, know everything and are passionate problem solvers.

The regional managers are responsible for several projects. They are responsible for ensuring that all processes are well thought out and work. They solve problems before they arise and help where they are needed. During the season, project management is a core task in this position.

Our Technical Managers are among the top ranks of the Shape Academy. Due to their many years of experience in planning, building and shaping our facilities, they are supervisors of a large number of projects. They plan, develop and design existing and new projects in collaboration with their colleagues at the Shape Academy. To fulfil their important role, they work for Young Mountain all year round and are at the forefront of creating "perfect rides".
