It has become a global culture that brings together diverse people – all connected by one thing: the love for snowboarding.
For snowboarding to exist in the form we know it, all these layers interconnect like a complex ecosystem. From non-profit organizations, resort owners, and cable car operators to current pro riders and regular snowboarders – they all shape the world of snowboarding, turning it into more than just a sport.
An integral part of this ecosystem is also the numerous snow park shapers spread across the globe. Whether it's a small or large snow park, kicker or jib, rail or tube – each park is meticulously maintained, emphasizing the crucial role of park shapers. The Shape Academy oversees around 50 snow parks in the Alpine region, representing a significant layer within the world of snowboarding.
With approximately 250 employees, it is considered the largest shape crew in the Alpine region, all outfitted with premium outerwear from Nitro and L1.
